Tragic student's removal tonight

The removal will take place later this evening of Cork student, Caolan Mulrooney.

The 18-year-old was reported missing after he failed to return home after a night out in Cork city last Thursday.

After an extensive search, his body was discovered on Tuesday morning at the back of a premises on Douglas Street.

A post mortem was carried out on his body and Gardaí are treating the death as a tragic accident.

Caolan will be reposing at St Patrick's Church in Rochestown from 5.30pm until 9pm this evening.

His funeral mass will take place tomorrow.
