AA: VAT and Carbon Tax will hit rural Ireland hardest

Conor Faughnan of AA Ireland has said Michael Noonan's 2% VAT rise and Carbon Tax rise in today's Budget is "a tactical mistake".

The loss of disposable income from increased motor taxes will affect almost all households and businesses, according to the AA.
