Cork drugs accused appears in court

A man in his 30s, arrested after the seizure of drugs worth €600,000 in Cork city on Monday, has appeared in court.

He was released on his own bail yesterday evening to appear before the Cork District court again tomorrow.

Gardaí found 32kg of cannabis grass worth €380,000 when they stopped and searched a car in Glanmire.

In a follow up operation, a house in the Carrigtwohill area was searched and 35kg of cannabis resin with a street value of €220,000 was recovered.
