Man to appear in court in connection with Dublin shooting

A man is due in court this morning charged in connection with a shooting and seizure of firearms in Dublin yesterday.

Shots were fired through the window of a house in the Hazel Hill area of Tallaght just before 1am in the morning.

A man who was inside at the time escaped injury.

Two rifles were recovered during follow up searches by the Gardaí, and two men were arrested.

One man has been released without charge while the other, who is in his 20's, is due to appear at Dublin District Court later.
