The man convicted of killing east Cork boy Robert Holohan, Wayne O'Donoghue, has settled libel actions against the Sunday World and the Evening Herald.

A legal representative for the newspapers this afternoon read out an acknowledgment in the High Court that there was no evidence that semen found on the body of Robert Holohan was that of Wayne O'Donoghue.
