Customs seizes 10,000 litres of fuel in Dublin
The Revenue Customs Service has made another seizure of illegal fuel.
Some 10,000 litres of fuel have been recovered from a filling station on the Blessington Road in Dublin this afternoon.
It follows the recovery of 158,000 litres of fuel, a substantial amount of cash and a tanker in a major operation in counties Dublin, Louth and Galway yesterday.
A spokesperson said today's seizure was not linked to yesterday's operation.
Consumers are being urged to stick to long-established filling stations in order to avoid using laundered fuel.
