Man dies following Limerick crash

A 19-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Co Limerick this morning, gardaí have revealed.

The accident took place at around 8.20am on the N21 near Rathkeale.

The man, who was the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the Mid Western Regional hospital in Limerick for a post mortem examination.

Gardaí are investigating.
