Gardaí question man after seizing €40k of counterfeit goods
A 33-year old man remains in custody this morning after Gardaí seized a large amount of counterfeit goods in Dublin yesterday.
The haul, which is worth €40,000, was discovered during a planned search at a house in Knocklyon.
The goods included counterfeit Apple iPods, Apple iPhones, Nintendo DS Games and computer software.
The man, who was arrested at the house, is still being questioned at Raheny Garda Station this morning.
Investigators said the seizure is linked to the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods via the internet through various websites.
