Gardaí release details of 'kidnap' car

Gardaí have released details of a car they are seeking in connection with a reported abduction in the East Wall area of Dublin earlier this week.

The victim of the incident is reported to have been bundled into the vehicle, a black Volkswagen Golf, on Russell Avenue at around 4.45pm on Thursday afternoon.

"Investigating Gardaí have established that the full registration number of the car involved in this incident is 05-D-88805," a statement said.

Anyone who may have seen this car or know of its current location is asked to contact gardaí at Store Street on 016668000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Gardaí warned that the car and its occupants should not be approached.
