Groups to voice opposition to change in Constitution
A number of groups are coming together in Dublin today to voice their opposition to the so-called 'Abbeylara Amendment' to the Constitution.
Next week voters will decide whether or not to give increased powers to parliamentary committees.
Critics have said the amendment poses a threat to the rights of individual citizens.
Director of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, Mark Kelly, has said the amendment bears the hallmark of "a Kangaroo Court".
