Gardaí investigate alleged kidnapping in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an alleged assault and kidnapping of a male in the East Wall area yesterday evening.

At around 4.45pm, the victim was reportedly attacked and bundled into a dark-coloured Volkswagen Golf on Russell Avenue.

The vehicle then left the scene.

Gardaí have said they are very concerned for the victim and they are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who saw the car to contact Store Street Garda station.
