Gardaí investigate reports of Dublin kidnapping

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an alleged assault and kidnapping of a male in the East Wall area this evening.

The alleged victim was reportedly attacked and bundled into a dark-coloured Volkswagen Golf on Russell Avenue at around 4.45pm.

The vehicle then left the scene.

Gardaí say they are very concerned for the victim and they are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who saw the car to contact Store Street Garda Station.
