The brother of Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has been remanded in custody after losing a legal bid to appeal against his extradition to the North on sex abuse charges.

Liam Adams is to be sent to a prison in Dublin to await transfer to the North some time in the next fortnight, where he is expected to stand trial for 18 alleged offences against his daughter Aine Tyrell.
