It has emerged that more than 300 referral letters that were never followed up on, have been discovered at Tallaght Hospital in Dublin, dating back to between 2001 and 2003.

The Irish Medical News has found that 328 letters for patients to have electro-myogram or EMG tests were discovered at the end of last year.
