Rabbitte: €4bn of Budget cuts would be 'counter-productive'

The Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte has said it would be "counter-productive" to implement the €4bn of Budget cuts as recommended by the Government's new Fiscal Advisory Council.

Initially, the Government said it would only make cuts of €3.6bn in December's Budget.
