Bomb disposal team called to Donnybrook site of 'viable' bomb

The Army bomb disposal team has made safe a viable improvised explosive device in Donnybrook in Dublin overnight.
The Defence Forces deployed the team to an address on Eglington Road at around 1.30am after a request by the Gardai.
The scene was declared safe an hour later and no controlled explosion was carried out.
The device has been removed for examination.
This is the 200th call out for the Army Bomb Disposal Team this year, and the 40th viable device dealt with by them.
