Aviva refusing to comment redundancy reports, says union

The Unite trade union said today that Aviva is refusing to confirm or deny reports it is planning to shed up to 1,000 jobs.

Management at the insurance company would also not confirm today when the ongoing review of its Irish operations will be completed.
