Gardaí continue to question man over death of Galway publican

A man is still being questioned by gardaí over the killing of publican John Kenny in Oughterard, Co Galway last weekend.

The man in his 30s was arrested on Wednesday evening, and can be held until tomorrow evening.

Mr Kenny, a 56-year-old teacher and publican, was found dead in his pub in Oughterard on Sunday evening.

He was found with his hands tied behind his back, and had been violently assaulted.
