Burton: Public sector payments to come under Budget scrutiny

Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton is hinting that top-ranking civil servants may have their lump sums taxed in the Budget.

Minister Burton said that Finance Minister Michael Noonan is extremely aware of the public response to pension payouts for top civil servants.
