Revenue accepts settlements worth €26m

The Revenue Commissioners accepted 114 settlements between April and June of this year totalling more than €26m.

Sixty-eight settlements were for amounts of more than €100,000; 11 of these exceeded €500,000 and three of those 11 were worth more than €1m.

There was one settlement of €300,000 relating to bogus non-resident holders, while there were 22 settlements totalling to a combined €5m relating to investigations into offshore funds.

There were 10 settlements totalling more than €2m in connection with single premium insurance products.
