Cabinet to decide before Christmas how much of ESB to sell

The Government is to sell a minority stake in the ESB.

The Energy Minister Pat Rabbitte said the decision to sell off part of the company is an early commitment by the Government to its obligations under the terms of the EU/IMF deal.
