SF Ard Fheis to take place in Belfast

Sinn Féin's Ard Fheis begins in Belfast this evening, the first time the party has taken the event north of the border.

It is also the first time the party has had a major gathering since successful elections in Stormont and the Dáil.

The economic and social challenges north and south are expected to top the agenda.

The party will also hold discussions around a candidate for the Presidential election but won't make an announcement until next week at the earliest.
