Abuse survivors dismiss Vatican response to Cloyne report

A prominent clerical abuse survivor tonight dismissed the Vatican’s response as another attempt to absolve itself of responsibility for clerical cover-ups.

Andrew Madden urged the Government to press-ahead with tough new reporting guidelines without undue or unnecessary exceptions.
