Kilkenny Gardaí investigate armed robbery

Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating an armed robbery at a post office in Glenmore this morning.

At around 10.15am, two men armed with a gun and hammer entered the post office and demanded cash.

They stole a small amount of money before making their getaway in a vehicle.

No one was injured during the incident and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
