Man arrested in connection with shooting outside Fairview pub

A man in his 30s has been arrested in Dublin today in connection with a shooting incident in the city last year.

The investigation relates to an incident outside The Players Lounge pub in Fairview Strand on July 26, 2010 when a lone gunman opened fire on a group of people standing outside.

Three men were injured in the incident.

It is the first arrest to be made in the investigation into the triple shooting. The man is being held at Clontarf garda station.
