All secondary schools to get high-speed broadband

The Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte has pledged to roll out high-speed broadband in all secondary schools.

Minister Rabbitte's announcement comes following the success of a pilot scheme in 78 schools around the country where high speed broadband was installed.

The Minister said the financing of the initiative will be considered in the context of general budgetary discussions this autumn.
