Two police officers escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their police car in Antrim during the early hours of this morning.

Two police officers escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their police car in Antrim during the early hours of this morning.

The patrol car was en route to an emergency call from a distressed woman in Co Antrim when the device was thrown from an alleyway close to a fast food restaurant, hitting the side of the car before igniting.
