Consortium secures future of greyhound stadium

Newbridge Greyhound Stadium is to re-open next month after a consortium secured its future.

The facility closed its doors earlier this year, coming as a major blow to greyhound owners and breeders.

The promoters, Morgan and Franklin Consortium, are promising to provide employment for up to 50 people when the stadium re-opens on September 9.
