Ryanair has taken issue with the Department of Transport over what it says are "inaccurate claims" about the decision to retain the €3 travel tax.

The Transport Minidter Leo Varadkar said some of the airlines were "unable to give the required commitments" to reinstate cancelled routes and restore lost capacity.
