Paid leave perk causing controversy in FAS

A long-running perk for staff in FAS is causing controversy, after the Government last week announced the agency was to be rebranded as Solas.

Until now, staff have been entitled to take 70 days' annual paid leave and holidays in each of the two years before they retire, in order to "acclimatise" to retirement.
