Court to hear Adams' extradition case

Liam Adams' extradition case is to be heard today.

The brother of the Sinn Féin TD is wanted in the North on charges of raping his daughter.

Liam Adams denies multiple charges of rape, indecent assault and gross indecency against his daughter, Áine Tyrell, who has waived her right to anonymity.

It is claimed the offences occurred at various addresses in Belfast between March 1977 and March 1983, when the alleged victim was aged between four and 10 years.

Adams is contesting the request for his surrender to the North and claims he won't get a fair trial.
