Search for missing boy to recommence this afternoon

The search for a missing teenage boy off the coast of Donegal will resume this afternoon.

Sean McNair, who is an only child, has not been seen since Saturday.

The 17-year-old from Derry went missing in Lough Swilly while swimming with friends at Rathmullan pier.

The search will not resume until 3pm this afternoon because of tide levels. Efforts are being also hampered by bad weather conditions.

Twenty members of the Coast Guard, Gardaí, the RNLI and locals are involved in the search.
