Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a mechanic in Dublin more than two years ago.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a mechanic in Dublin more than two years ago.

Liam Murray was found dead at his home in Rathfarnham on March 20, 2009. he had suffered gunshot wounds to the head, face and body.

It is thought he may have been killed a few days earlier on St Patrick's Day.

This morning, gardaí from Terenure detained two men, aged 49 and 47, who are now being questioned at Terenure and Rathfarnham garda stations.
