Roscommon protesters call for meeting after GPs refuse to back hospital changes

The Roscommon Hospital Action Committee is calling for an urgent meeting with the HSE and local doctors, after GPs in Roscommon said they would not cooperate with proposed changes to the emergency department at the hospital.

From this Monday, the current A&E department will close and an urgent care centre will be in place instead.
