National Play Day takes place in campaign against childhood obesity

Today is National Play Day - with outdoor recreation events taking place in 20 local authority areas around the country to highlight the fight against childhood obesity.

Recent studies have shown that more than 33% of all three-year-olds in Ireland are either overweight or obese.
