Two arrested in money laundering probe

Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into money laundering.

A man in his 30s was arrested yesterday evening in the west Dublin area after gardaí from the National Drugs Unit stopped and searched his car.

Some €100,000 was seized in a follow-up operation in Co Kildare.

A man in his 60s was arrested.

Both are being held under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
