Mountain rescue team stages walk to raise funds
Efforts are being made to raise funds for the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team which has seen a 40% decline in funding in recent years.
Members of the volunteer service are walking 32 kilometres through both counties overnight in a bid to raise awareness of the cause.
Spokesperson Brian O'Doherty said they are hoping to raise enough money to buy a 4x4 ambulance for the team.
