Gardaí arrest man in sexual assault case

A man has been arrested for questioning in connection with an aggravated burglary and sexual assault in South Dublin last Friday.

Gardaí investigating the attack detained a man in his thirties this afternoon.

He is being questioned at Dun Laoighaire Garda Station.

It follows a break-in at a house in the Marlfield area of Cabinteely, during which a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault.
