Temperatures set to improve over weekend

Temperatures are finally set to soar this weekend.

Following a unseasonably chilly June so far, conditions are set to improve.

Highs of 24 degrees are being forecast for Sunday with the East and the Midlands likely to get the best of the weather.

However, on Monday we will be brought back down to earth with thunder storms expected to come up from the Bay of Biscay.
