Gardaí seek witnesses to fatal car crash

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal two-car collision in Limerick yesterday evening.

The accident happened on the N21 at Monearla near Adare at around 6.10pm.

The 53-year-old male driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.

A female passenger in that car and the driver of the second were taken to the Regional Hospital in Limerick, where their injuries are described as not life-threatening.
