The Mercy University Hospital (MUH) in Cork has identified over 100 people who may have been in contact with a staff member who has been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB).

The Mercy University Hospital (MUH) in Cork has identified over 100 people who may have been in contact with a staff member who has been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB).

Dr Terence O’Connor, a consultant respiratory physician at MUH, said a special team of medics traced the people, including former patients, who may have had close contact with the infected staff member.
