EU considers plan to introduce air and noise pollution charge

A new EU directive to charge truckers for air and noise pollution is being criticised by a Fianna Fáil MEP.

Pat the Cope Gallagher, who voted against the inititive in the European Parliament, has said it will leave Ireland uncompetitive.
