Thousands of students to begin Leaving and Junior Cert examinations

More than 116,000 students from across the country will begin their Leaving and Junior Certificate exams this morning.

The first Leaving Cert paper to be opened at 9.30am is English, followed at 2pm this afternoon by Home Economics, Scientific and Social.
