Donabate shooting victim dies after caravan-park attack

The victim of a gun attack in Dublin at the weekend has lost his fight for life in hospital.

Michael Taylor was shot at least twice in the head at Hand's Caravan Park in Donabate yesterday afternoon.

Fifty-three-year-old Michael Taylor was with his wife when he was shot a number of times at Hand Caravan Park in Donabate yesterday afternoon.

He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where he lost his fight for life at around 9am today.

The two gunmen wore black and grey hoodies.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. They have now launched a murder investigation and will hold a press briefing at 11.30am.
