Kerry gardaí seize drugs worth €540,000

Gardaí in Co Kerry have made a significant drugs seizure.

The find was made in the Lee Drive area of Tralee.

Gardaí say almost 10 kilos of suspected methadone, with a value of €500,000, was seized.

Eight thousand ecstacy tablets, worth an estimated €40,000, were also discovered.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested but was later released.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.
