Free legal advice centre sees 400% increase in debt calls

The free legal advice centre FLAC has called on the Government to put a comprehensive debt settlement system in place to help thousands of people struggling to pay their debts.

The organisation's annual report for 2010 - which is being published today - shows that 787 people contacted the service for advice about their debts last year.
