Aer Lingus to enter LRC talks with pilots
Aer Lingus and the pilots trade union IALPA have accepted an invitation to talks by the Labour Relations Commission in a bid to avert threatened industrial action by pilots.
The airline is warning of the possible full cancellation of services from next Tuesday as a row over pilot shortages escalates.
IALPA, the union which represents the pilots, said management and pilot representatives are due to enter talks on the matter this week.
Up to 30,000 people could be effected on a daily basis if the action goes ahead.
