Cloud-computing firm to create 125 jobs in Dublin
A cloud-computing firm is to create 125 jobs in Dublin over the next three years.
Recruitmentis underway for the roles in areas such as sales, marketing and support divisions.
Marketo is one of the fastest growing cloud-computing companies in Silicon Valley, and grew their sales by more than 300% last year.
Their products help marketing and sales teams in other businesses to harness the new ways consumers make purchases online.
Marketo said they chose Ireland for their European hub because of our "large talent pool of skilled people".
Announcing the jobs today, Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton said cloud-computing could create more than 8,500 jobs in Ireland by 2014, if the country harnesses its potential in the area.
He has described Marketo's investment is a great confidence boost for cloud computing in Ireland.
