Obama visit: Dublin's Monday flights suspended for 30 minutes

The Irish Aviation Authority has said there will be a suspension of flight services at Dublin Airport for a time on Monday morning for the arrival of the US President Barack Obama.

However, the authority said services would only be suspended for around 30 minutes and is advising all intending passengers to check in at the airport as normal.

Meanwhile, Dame Street is completely closed to traffic for the next few days ahead of the President's visit.

The Phoenix Park in Dublin is also completely closed to all vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians today and tomorrow, with the exception of those visiting Dublin Zoo.

Dublin Bus said all of its services would run over the next few days. However, due to traffic restrictions, there will be diversions and delays to some services in the city centre from today until Tuesday.
