Roscommon welcomes 100 new jobs
A medical devices company is creating 100 jobs in Co Roscommon.
Harmac Medical Products is expanding its operation in Castlerea the new positions will come online over the next five years.
The US-based firm makes medical devices and already employs more than 180 people at the site.
Twenty of the new jobs have been filled while recruitment is underway for the rest.
Jobs and Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton said it represents "a firm vote of confidence in our skilled workforce and our competitiveness", while Chief Executive of the IDA Barry O'Leary said the announcement builds on the strong medical device cluster in the Midlands Gateway area.
